REFLECTION

What have l learnt in this module?

In this module, I learned the relevant knowledge of design principles, understand the definition of each design principle and the design actually applied, and I learned how to analyze the design principles contained in each work. How to discover and understand the application of design principles from various angles, learn to draw inspiration and experience from it, and apply it to my own design, I learned to create my own elements and give full play to my imagination. At the same time, I learned about the United Nations sustainable development goals and the direction of the world group's efforts for the planet.

What did l enjoy the most?

What I enjoy most is the process of designing sketches. When I searched for templates on the Internet, I found many unique and wonderful ideas of designers. They are so creative and attractive. Turn simple images and words into interesting designs that are not simple. These designs help me expand my thinking, enrich my spiritual world, improve my aesthetic, and let me get a lot of inspiration. The sketch of the design work enables me to show what is in my mind, and what I imagine is on paper, which gives me a great sense of accomplishment. Although the process of revision makes me rack my brains, I can enjoy it.

What did l not enjoy the most?

The process of finding references is very difficult. On the Internet, it is very difficult for me to find the full version of books, unable to read them in depth, and there are few related papers. It takes me a lot of time and energy to find references.

What have l learnt about myself through this module?

In the study of this module, I learned to communicate and discuss with my classmates, listen to the suggestions of my classmates and teachers and apply them to my works. I learned how to make my pictures more rich and beautiful, and how to ask teachers questions. Express my thoughts and thinking process, which is my learning and understanding in communication and expression.

What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?

What has changed is my own aesthetic and painting ability, which has been developed and improved to a certain extent, and my relationship with my classmates has become closer as a result of daily communication and discussion. what has not changed is my love of learning, the pursuit of more perfect works and the yearning for higher goals.

What could be improved in this module?

We can open up more collective activities, such as reading in the library, expand our interest in reading and record the learning contents and achievements of the class, which can make our learning of knowledge more profound, and at the same time, we can exchange and share experiences among our classmates and learn more different knowledge.
