Task 3 Brief : 

After examining the plan of your choice in Assignment 2, you may presently deliver a work of plan, inspired/influenced by the one you had examined, or as a response to it. You ought to moreover apply your information of plan principles in your creation. You'll use any medium and/or materials that are reasonable to communicate your visual message. Coordinate utilize of photos isn't allowed. MOODBOARD

In terms of reference, I mainly choose those harmed marine creatures, which are either entangled with plastic or killed wantonly, select the lens of their injury and the precarious situation of the marine ecology, and design it, so as to highlight the importance of protecting the ocean. This is in line with my chosen United Nations sustainable development goal-conservation and sustainable use of oceans and marine resources to promote sustainable development

• Symmetrucal Balance The whole figure is symmetrical and balanced.
• Contrast Use the color contrast of red and blue, desert red and ocean blue.
• Emphasis and Dominance The main sea turtle / plastic bag accounts for a large proportion in the picture and plays an important role.

Think of plastic bags as the shape of sea turtles, and the collective representation of marine life as sea turtles, which means that marine life is tortured by plastic bags, the sea water in the middle can also be turned into desert, and the damaged ocean will eventually dry up.

• Symmetrucal Balance There is a symmetrical balance between letters.
• World and Image Combine text with images, with plastic elements in the letters.
• Rule of Thirds The alphabet occupies about 1/3 of the picture.

The English word "sea" is filled with plastic elements. Because littering causes plastics to enter the ocean, the living environment of marine organisms is destroyed, threatening their healthy survival and sending a first aid signal.

• I finally chose this draft to finish it.

The pink font is the English word "ocean" (later I'm going to change it to blue, which is more representative of the ocean). The angle of the text can be regarded as a pair of fishbones. The staggered harpoon symbolizes the extensive fishing of marine life. The intersection of harpoon and fishbone forms a cross.

After heavy fishing, only debris is left in the sea, so we should prohibit the occurrence of unreasonable fishing.

RATIONALE

Simple style

I chose GOAL 14th of the sustainable development of the United Nations"Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development".On this basis, inspired by the phenomenon that marine animals are caught in large numbers, people are called on to protect marine life and achieve sustainable development.

The design is symmetrical balanced, and the English word "ocean" is distributed diagonally in the picture.Use word and image to combine English words with fishbone patterns. The two are similar.The use of symbol, patterned harpoons and white fish bones represent overfishing and the effects of resource depletion, and the combined prohibition symbols represent resistance to this phenomenon.The contrast is used, and the red and blue contrast is strong.Emphasis and Dominance，the main part is enlarged and the color is too bright.

The use of harpoon and fish bone elements to vividly reflect the scene of fish being hunted, more expressive picture, directly and clearly express the reasons affecting the sustainable development of the ocean.

The moment the harpoon hit the fish, there was a forbidden symbol, and the blue sea was covered with white fish bones.Is the red background the blood of hunting or the sea of desert?(205)

GENERAL FAEEDFBACK

Need to add reference works and sources of inspiration, make it clear that the style of the work is consistent with that of the previously sought work, and indicate the assignment requirements in the blog.

SPECIFIC FEEDBACK

The content of the sketch should be more detailed, can not only be described in words, need to be drawn, simple style works do not need to have too many colors, should be reduced as appropriate, preferably about two colors

GENERAL FAEEDFBACK

Add the serial number of the picture, point out the design principles contained in each draft, add the process of completion of the work, let people see the process of thinking, and finally analyze the design principles and show the meaning of each element.

SPECIFIC FEEDBACK

I need to adjust the size of the main body, the pattern is too close to the edge, the picture is too tense, there is no sense of breathing, but also need to adjust the bottom font, choose a font that fits better with the picture will look better.

REFLECTIONS
