After the first week of class we were asked to watch stop motion short films and share your 3 favorites under the final project section of the blog.

Stop Motion Short Film 1 : Distortion

In the 12th week, I began to use the paper-cut materials around me to make the protagonist tasks and flowers needed to shoot stop-motion animations. this process is very interesting, because I haven't painted for a long time.

Stop-motion animation shooting

We balanced the camera to the fitting position and shot agreeing to the storyboard of the extend proposition.
Since I was shooting by myself, I couldn't shoot a scene with a camera.

Although it was filmed in the sun, the light transmittance in the room was poor, which made the picture dark, so I used the desk lamp in the room to make up the light.

After shooting, I tried to import the photos into the AE software of my computer, but unfortunately, my computer malfunctioned and could not recover temporarily, so I used the mobile software to edit the next step.

Stop Motion Editing
Due to the damage to my computer, I began to edit videos on my mobile phone software.

Add the theme text before the video to express the central content of the video more intuitively.

Put the photos together in the correct order to achieve the final coherent animation effect.

To make the animation more interesting, I added some of the sound effects I looked for from the material library and found a more enjoyable music as a bgm
This step is the most complex part of the video production process for me. I need to correspond each sound effect to the picture one by one to achieve sound and picture synchronization so as not to make the audience feel that they are acting.

FEEDBACK
The teacher thinks that my story lacks the ending of the final development (the end of the original story is that the girl became friends with the girl who watered the flowers with her), it is not suitable for the theme, and the ending plot can be adjusted properly.

REFLECTION
