Self-titled is an exploration project for the students to express their own individuality and reflect their personality into digital art self-expression. 

The main idea is to build up self-confidence and discover their interest. 

PART 1: WEEK 10 (5 marks)
 1.Idea Development

1. Write a biography about yourself

INTRO	Tell us about yourself My name is Shao Han. I am 18 years old. I am studying for a bachelor's degree in creative media at Taylor’s University. I have a sister who is studying art.
PARAGRAPH 1	What is your passion? Probably because I am curious about all new things, I want to keep trying something new, and how to use computer software well is a big challenge for me. I like challenges.
PARAGRAPH 2	What’s motivate you to achieve your dream? It's my passion, of course, and some of the excitement when I imagine realizing my dream, which makes me very much hope that I can realize my dream.
SUMMARY	How do you want to visualize your dream into an artwork? Through my own efforts, I think it is very necessary. Nothing can be achieved without efforts.

INTRO	Tell us about your work Write some biographies about yourself, briefly introduce yourself and express your dreams and how to realize them, and then finish your homework as perfectly as possible.
PARAGRAPH 1	What is the concept behind it? It's probably some fantasy, a little nihilistic fantasy, just like people's wild inspiration and imagination every day.
PARAGRAPH 2	What is the message you want people to understand it? I hope people can understand that imagination is a wonderful thing. We don't have to live too rationally. Imagination is a very romantic thing.
SUMMARY	What is your motto/ quote? What matters is not how long it is, but how good it is.

At first, it was painted like this because I had imagined being a cowboy. At that time, I liked watching movies about western cowboys very much. I thought cowboys were very cool, but this kind of imagination was more inclined to a kind of dream. There is still a certain gap with the fantasy I want to express, so I decided to change it again.

When I drew this draft, I already had a general direction in my mind. I recalled some experiences when I was a child. I would ask my parents why people could not fly and why the age of candy could not fall from the sky. These are my childhood fantasies, so I decided to use these materials.

I started working on my poster, using a lot of what I had learned before, and roughly what I wanted to look like.

FINAL POSTER

TITLE: In the imagination

ARTIST STATEMENT:  My PS poster last week was very different from the poster I finally presented. I deleted the whale and a cloud, mainly because they took up some memory, move the teddy bear above the cloud to make the picture more balanced，and changed the background white to black, in order to reduce objects while making the picture as empty as possible. In this picture, I mainly want to show how wild things people imagine in their fantasies, how incredible they look, and I think this imagination is very beautiful and happy.
